Well, originally it came from combining architectural drawings. Yep. That simple!There is much more meaning behind the name or word Ardra, none of it was considered in the creation of the original company, Ardra Drafting. More info:
Ardra is a name used in Hindi and it is associated with Vedic Astrology, specifically the Sixth Nakshatra. In Celtic as a name it means “noble”. Ardra Drafting started as a means to create an affordable drafting service for people needing simple plans that met the city of Edmonton’s increasingly high standards. Since then, the vision and the dream has grown.In 2022 Ardra Drafting became Ardra Vision.
With the rebranding, came a focus on Architectural Visualizations due to Aryn's time constraints while attending full time university.Over the next few years, Aryn plans to grow Ardra Vision to include other graduates and students. Thus, providing an opportunity to get valuable experience, explore different types of projects and interact with a variety of clients. In particular, a focus on accessible design, retrofitting and renovations; all of which are inter-related to reducing the carbon footprint of construction.
